Give Kids The World Kids Club Program

A Community Partnership:

Over 60,000 children with life-threatening illnesses and their families from across the world have enjoyed a cost-free vacation through Give Kids The World.

In order to reach out to Central Florida children with life-threatening illnesses, Give Kids The World has created the Kids Club. The Kids Club allows these children and their families to enjoy Give Kids The World Village and its many amenities.

There are no membership fees involved with Kids Club. Children and their immediate families are welcomed and encouraged to enjoy Give Kids The World Village during monthly activities, holiday parties and special events.

In addition to all of the social functions at Give Kids The World Village, Kids Club members and their immediate families can enjoy complimentary theme park and local attraction visits, sporting events and participation in the Parents' Night Out Program.

Children who would like to join Kids Club must have their parent or guardian submit a completed application, a signed liability release and a medical authorization from their doctor to Give Kids The World. To be eligible, a child must have a life-threatening illness, reside in our local area and be between the ages of three to eighteen years old. Child must also be undergoing treatment or have had treatment within the past two years. If a child has been in remission for two years or more they will not qualify for the Kids Club program.

Sickle Cell patients, that are blood transfusion dependant which means they would be receiving Desforal treatments at home OR in frequent pain crisis or hospitalizations would then be qualified as receiving treatment. Those that have the Sickle Cell disease but are symptomatic and only go to the clinic every six months for a check up would not be eligible. However, the status of these patients can change at any time and will be considered on an individual basis.

Membership in the Kids Club is not intended to replace a "wish." Children who live in our local area and have a history with wish granting foundations are eligible for membership in Kids Club. The counties we serve are Osceola, Orange, Polk, Brevard, Seminole and Volusia counties. Families in Lake County that are treated in the Orange County area, may also be eligible for enrollment.
